Meet Our Founder: Daniel

Daniel founded Vol Timepieces while pursuing his Biology degree at Cornell University. What began as a passion project quickly grew into a business that helped him pay his way through school. His journey started with a $2,000 Breitling and, through persistence and vision, evolved into handling some of the world’s most sought-after watches — including a $2,000,000 Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon.

From the beginning, Daniel built the business on authenticity. Clients connected with his openness about being a student entrepreneur, many seeing in Daniel the same ambition and determination that once defined their own paths to success. Over the years, Vol Timepieces has served distinguished collectors across the globe — from CEOs of public companies to world-renowned musicians, Asian royalty, and collectors with $10M dollar collections.

Daniel graduated from Cornell, Summa Cum Laude, completing his pre-medical studies before earning a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, Daniel began consulting for some of the top biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the world, but his passion for horology and building trusted client relationships remains at the heart of Vol Timepieces.

Every watch that comes through Vol Timepieces undergoes a rigorous three-step authentication and quality control process:

  1. Trusted sourcing – We only purchase from verified suppliers with whom we’ve
    completed millions of dollars in transactions.
  2. Expert authentication – Upon arrival, our master watchmaker Eddie (26 years of experience) conducts a full inspection of both external and internal components. Each watch is tested on a timegrapher for precision (no beat error, strong amplitude, no service needed) and undergoes a pressure test to confirm water resistance.
  3. Final quality check – Daniel personally performs the last inspection to ensure the watch matches its description and is delivered in flawless condition.

How do I know the watch will arrive safely?

Secure, Insured, Seamless Delivery 

Your timepiece is shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight, fully insured, discreetly double-boxed, and delivered with signature and identification required. From our hands to yours, every detail is handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

How do I pay?

Once we agree on a price, you will place a small deposit via Zelle to secure the timepiece and ensure it is reserved exclusively for you. You will then receive an invoice with wiring instructions for the remaining balance. As soon as the wire clears (typically within 24 hours), your watch will be shipped priority overnight, fully insured, anywhere in the USA.

For first-time clients, we only accept payment by bank wire (or Zelle), the industry standard for high-value watch transactions. Wire transfers provide a secure and verifiable method of settlement, ensuring both buyer and seller protection.

For return clients, we may also accept credit card payments upon request. Please note that all credit card transactions are subject to standard processing fees, which are the responsibility of the client. In most cases, these fees outweigh the value of the credit card rewards points earned, so we recommend wire transfer as the most efficient and cost-effective option.
